DISCLAIMER:

Behavioral Health of Rocky Top is required by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) to provide patients with a list of standard charges for services and supplies that may be billed to the patient and/or the patient’s insurance plan over the course of an inpatient stay. The standard charge list is updated annually by Behavioral Health of Rocky Top, per CMS guidelines.

The listing of standard charges applies to inpatient facility charges and does not include physician charges, as these are billed separately by the individual physician. The standard charge list contains a description of each facility fee or service, including room and board, gross charges and discounted cash prices. The standard charge list is an estimate of the fees associated with an inpatient stay and does not represent the actual amount the patient and/or insurance will be charged for care provided at Behavioral Health of Rocky Top.

For an insured patient, the amount the patient is responsible to pay depends on the insurance plan and individual insurance benefits. Behavioral Health of Rocky Top can provide you with an estimate of your out of pocket costs based on the quoted benefits from your insurance plan, but this is not a guarantee of payment by your insurance and is only an estimate based on what the facility is quoted prior to admission.

Behavioral Health of Rocky Top encourages each patient to consult with their insurance plan prior to admission to better understand what your insurance will cover and what your out of pocket expenses may be for an inpatient hospital stay. For uninsured patients, we discount charges to meet federal and state requirements. In addition, insurance reimbursement rates are established by government payer’s fee schedules and/or contractual agreements with commercial payers and Behavioral Health of Rocky Top.

The standard charge listing is provided as an estimate and for informational purposes only.

For more information please review our Standard Charge Information.
